This holster is designed to be worn at the 3:00 - 3:30 o'clock position on the right hip. Left-Hand holsters would be positioned at the 8:30 - 9:00 o'clock position on the left hip. It is not well suited for small of the back carry. The belt loops will accommodate up to a 1 1/2" X 1/4" heavy duty belt. The snaps are the directional locking type that can only be un-snapped by pulling outward at the top on the strap. This holster has a forward cant of approximately 25 degrees.
